Make Your Bed

And teach your kids to make their beds too. It will make your bedrooms look put together and takes little time to do. The best way to start your day is with a made bed.

Take It Out, Put It Away

A simple principle. If you take something out, put it back when you are done. Again, teach the kids the same.

Everyday a Little Something

Don’t save all your cleaning for one day. Try to get one thing done EVERY day… vacuum, sweep, wipe the bathroom counters.

Deal With Mail on a Daily Basis

Toss any flyers or unnecessary mail at the door, open and file any bills that need to be paid, and decide on what will work for your kid papers rather than let them pile up on the counter.

Wash the Dishes and Put Them Away

Get in the habit of loading the dishwasher after dinner, wiping down the kitchen table, clearing and wiping the counters, and give the sink a wipe.

Taking on these five simple tasks and getting into a routine will keep your house organized and clean, especially between those weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleans (which we would love to do for you!) 🙂
